National Painting Skill Competition 2016

Paints and Coatings Skill Council is an organisation dedicated to skill development in the Indian Paints and Coatings sector. The council seeks to promote and develop an ecosystem necessary to fill the skill gaps and meet the evolving challenges across all trades in the industry. Incorporated in October 2015 under Section 8 of The Companies Act 2013, as a notfor-profit company, PCSC is backed by industry bodies such as The Indian Paint Association (IPA), Indian Small Scale Paint Association (ISSPA) and Indian Paints and Coatings Association (IPCA).

Painters form a very important part of our industry but there is no recognition of their large contribution to the growth and success of the industry. To recognise the vital part they play in delivering value to the ultimate customer, IPA proposes to hold a national painter competition. Paints and Coatings Skill Council will play the role of knowledge and
implementation partner. The winner of the competition will be invited to receive the award at the IPA conference to be held in January 2017.
